UNDERGROUND UTILITIES ArborCraft Tree Transplanting will order a Miss Dig staking request covering public utilities in accordance with the Miss Dig Act 174 of Public Act 2013. These generally include electric, natural gas, fiber optic, telephone and cable. Miss Dig DOES NOT mark private utilities, this could include but is not limited to electric service lines, gas lines to grills or other outdoor items, irrigation lines, lines to septic tanks and drain field lines, tile lines, underground fence, underground sprinkling, landscape lighting, etc. The property owner is responsible for notifying Arborcraft Tree Transplanting of any unmarked underground utilities not marked by Miss Dig. Any damage to unmarked utilities are the responsibility of the property owner. When ArborCraft Tree Transplanting is informed by the property owner that unmarked underground utilities exist, the utilities will be hand excavated to expose, and will be billed to the property owner at the current hourly rate. TREE TRANSPLANTING Care will be taken to protect property and minimize any damage, but our transplanting equipment is very and heavy and damage to lawns and property may occur. Unless otherwise specified in this quote, repairs are not included in this estimate and costs are the responsibility of the owner or contracting agent. This includes, but is not limited to, exposing, relocating, extending or repairing driveways, sidewalks, curbs, irrigation lines and heads, septic tanks, drain fields, drain tile, landscape lighting, underground pet fencing and other private utilities.
Warranty
Trees Covered by the following warranty include: Evergreens up to 20’ tall Deciduous up to 7” caliper (Oaks - up to 5” caliper) Any oversize tree with written approval by ArborCraft in a formal estimate Trees sold by and fully installed (planted, soiled, mulched) by ArborCraft Tree Transplanting or to the standard of ArborCraft Tree Transplanting are covered by a (1) Year Warranty. The Warranty starts from the date of planting and covers dead trees/plant material only. -Trees/Plants must be properly watered according to the given location, soil type and type of tree. Failure to do so will void the warranty. Watering instructions can be obtained by contacting ArborCraft Tree Transplanting -Trees/Plants going through transplant shock will not be covered. -Any Deer/Rabbit/Vole (Animal) Damage is not covered by the warranty -Trees and Plants planted in conditions not advised by ArborCraft Tree Transplanting will not be covered by the warranty. (E.g. A tree requiring well drained soil being planted in clay or a sun loving plant being planted in full shade). -ArborCraft Tree Transplanting reserves the right to cancel the warranty for any plant material at any time for any reason.
